New York may be most closely associated with finance and tourism, but that doesn’t mean the strength of the city’s fashion industry is to be overlooked. And the pinnacle of that industry is its twice annual Fashion Week. Drawing crowds from all over the world—and all runways of life—with an estimated attendance over 110,000 during each week, New York Fashion Week has a big impact on the overall New York City economy.
