Engineering Success for Women in STEM
Women still remain underrepresented in STEM fields, even as companies seek more and more qualified workers.
Author Jenn Aubert calls women “natural connectors,” yet finds that so many female entrepreneurs tend to be doing things on their own. That fact bothered Aubert so much that she decided to investigate its cause, devoting more than a year to the subject.
Aubert used her research as the basis for “Women Entrepreneur Revolution: Ready! Set! Launch!” a book she published last March that features snippets from more than 100 interviews she conducted with successful women entrepreneurs. So, what did she discover? Aubert recently penned a piece for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Blog, outlining four ways women entrepreneurs can get ahead when launching a business.
