It’s no secret, childcare in the U.S. is a well-known enigma for parents and teachers alike. It’s often crippling expensive and inconvenient for parents. And paradoxically, as a teacher, it can be notoriously hard to make a decent living. In fact, one out of every five American families spends more than a quarter of their income on childcare.
