Small Business Owner Takes to the Roof in Frustration About U.S. Economy

We know how important fourth quarter sales are for the survival of small businesses into the New Year. Faced with overbearing government regulations and economic uncertainty, mom and pop restaurants across the nation are often confronted with no choice, but to close down their establishments. Austin, Texas restaurant owner, Pappy Jack Allen is so dissatisfied with the current economic state of things, he has taken to the roof of his establishment in a display of musical frustration. Since last Friday, he has played his guitar nonstop and refuses to depart from his restaurant’s roof until the New Year. On Small Business Saturday, this past November, thousands showed their support for small businesses and although the turn out was incredible, we must remember the importance of small businesses for the American economy every day.
