The effort to make the next Congress more friendly to business and free enterprise shifted into higher gear this week with the U.S. Chamber’s release of new television ads in several battleground states – Hawaii, Maine, Montana, New Mexico, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Six of the seven voter education ads highlight senate candidates’ poor records on issues important to economic growth and job creation, including energy, health care, environmental regulations, and government spending. The ad running in Hawaii praises candidate Linda Lingle for her ability to work in a bipartisan manner to bring more jobs to her state.
