A new pricing structure by the Southern Nevada Water Authority caused a little bar in Las Vegas to close its doors. Larry’s Hideaway, which had been around for more than 20 years, closed its doors on June 30 after the local water authority increased its fees to more than $400 a month. The new charges are based on the size of a building’s water meter, instead of how much water the building uses. Read more here.
