NCLC Wraps Up Successful Supreme Court Session
May 31, 2007
The Supreme Court considered more business-related cases this session and ruled in favor of businesses on a greater number of cases than previous courts, thanks in part to the U.S. Chamber's public policy law firm, the National Chamber Litigation Center (NCLC). Of the 16 cases on which the Chamber's litigation center filed amicus briefs, 13 were victories for business, two were defeats, and one was withdrawn. "This has been our best Supreme Court term in 30 years," Robin Conrad, executive vice president of NCLC, said during a press event on June 19.
