Chamber Holds Global Corporate Citizenship Forum in New York

The U.S. Chamber's Business Civic Leadership Center (BCLC) hosted its "Global Corporate Citizenship Forum: Outlook for Public-Private Global Development Initiatives" in New York on April 5.

This forum provided an update on the latest international development activities at multilateral and U.S. government agencies, and offered a close look at the implications of the Monterrey Consensus for business in emerging markets. Speakers included Stephen Jordan, executive director, BCLC; Adam Greene, vice president Corporate Social Responsibility, US Council for International Business; and Dan Runde, director, GDA Secretariat, U.S. Agency for International Development, among others.

BCLC is a nonprofit affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce that serves as a resource and voice for businesses and their social, philanthropic, and ethical concerns.
