Later this afternoon when President Obama conducts his Twitter “townhall” he’ll be met online by thousands of Americans asking one simple question: “Will you help businesses and free enterprise create jobs by getting government out of the way?”

We’re encouraged by the White House’s enthusiasm for engaging in new ways, but whether it’s on Twitter or Facebook, Android or iPhone, Mac or PC, the message is clear: Americans want this administration to stop the torrent of costly government regulations that continue to hinder job growth and harm a fragile economy.

Social media is changing the world around us, and today you’ll see that the world’s largest business federation hasn’t missed a byte.  We’ll be calling on millions of grassroots activists, a coalition of business organizations, legislators, and Twitter users to force the White House to address the unprecedented increase in regulations that continues to inhibit job creation in an already fragile economy.
