CameraThe American Dream, born on the Fourth of July 235 years ago, is still carried on by small businesses across the country. In celebration of the holiday and the country’s timeless entrepreneurial spirit, today the U.S. Chamber is launching the American Dream Photo Contest.

The premise is simple; show us a small business that represents what’s best about our country and we’ll compile a national snapshot of the American Dream.

Whether you own a small business or know of one that embodies the passion and innovation that makes America great, simply submit a photo that best illustrates that business at www.Facebook.com/USChamber between today and July 13. The contributor who submits the most popular photo, selected by public vote, will win a trip for two to Washington, D.C.

Through the power of the online community, we’re sharing the stories of small business owners, their vision and their dreams actualized.

Small businesses’ role in our economic recovery is unquestionable, and their tenacity, passion, and desire to succeed are essential to our national identity. Help spread the word that the American Dream is alive and well this Fourth of July by encouraging your friends, neighbors, and co-workers to submit their small business photos online.
