With no commentary whatsoever regarding DADT, wanted to share this from my Facebook stream this morning. It is worth noting that the original poster works for a private sector union with nothing to do with the DOD; the two commentors are referring to two different public sector unions; and given the political leanings of my friends the poster was not pitching before a hostile crowd:

Post: The union I work for just issued a statement calling for the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell. I love my employer.

Comment 1: the union that supposedly represents me is now in month 34 without a contract.

Comment 2: The union who represents employees at where I work took my nameless employer to a full impass panel because the employer wanted to move the ashtrays 25 feet away from the doors. And the employer offered to build awnings so that no one got wet.
