Senate Committee Promotes a Taste of the Rockies

Tomorrow the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment & Public Works will be holding a hearing entitled Moving America toward a Clean Energy Economy and Reducing Global Warming Pollution: Legislative Tools.  So I go to their website to see who will be speaking and see this*:

Nice lineup of speakers (mostly) but take a look at that scenery up top. Here** is a larger view:

This place definitely goes on the list of America's natural wonders, except of course, it is in Canada. So as you consider where to spend your vacation dollars, the Senate reminds us not to forget the glories of the Canadian Rockies. And when you book your stay don't forget to tell them the U.S. Senate sent you -- perhaps there is a discount.

*Note: the images rotate, this is one of many, didn't have a chance to check out all of them for Canadian eco-tourism promotion, though these polar bears look suspiciously non-threatening.

**Update: 7 July - The picture is gone.  Score one for responsive government.
