Essentially, the Buy American clause could destroy our business. The end result of Buy American would, at a minimum, add significant costs to our products in the U.S. marketplace if we could find a way to supply them. And it would virtually eliminate our ability to ship U.S. products into the Canadian marketplace.
Aquarius Technologies, Inc., furnishes a number of American-made components to wastewater treatment plants. One proprietary component, a nylon material installed in the wastewater treatment tanks, is produced by an Ontario textile company. The product is sold as a Canadian product and, therefore, violates the Buy American clause. If the Buy American clause remains, it would virtually eliminate our ability to ship U.S. products into the Canadian marketplace.
