The SEIU Tries Libel

Mar 17, 2009

Having failed to convince the public that unions can’t organize without eliminating workers’ rights and having failed in their argument that rapid, mass-unionization was beneficial for the economy; Big Labor now appears so desperate that they have moved from misinformation to slander.

In a new video, exploiting a genuine human tragedy, the SEIU states that by protecting a worker’s right to vote on union representation by private ballot, and by protecting a worker’s right to vote on their own contract Democratic Congressman Dan Boren from Oklahoma is callously risking workers’ lives. Presumably they feel the same way about the other 272 Representatives and Senators of both parties who did not cosponsor the Bill.  I hope that Rep. Boren and the others can stay strong in the face of union intimidation and protect workers from the same.
