The SEIU is already planning for the internecine battles which would follow the passage of card check, though Andy Stern doesn't see it that way:

"A post-Employee Free Choice Act world actually creates the real opportunities for unions to do what they want to do."

In other words, as the article makes clear, once unions no longer have to compete for workers by offering them anything of value, they can just sit back, collude, and profit in their expanded, mandatory, monopoly.
