Cold Waters Run Deep
Dec 23, 2008
Another day, another example of America’s crumbling infrastructure. Today a 66-inch water main burst in Montgomery County, Maryland. 14 people had to be rescued as the frigid waters, up to four feet deep, swept the road. Schools closed early which I’m sure was fine for students anxious for winter break, but wrecked havoc on parents. It was, as my student (age 5) put it, "crazy." So in lieu of quality blog posts today I give you a wall of water and a dramatic helicopter rescue. Watch the video and then visit our Let’s Rebuild America initiative for more insight into our infrastructure needs.
